Nissan Leaf: The family golf monster?

We recently found a dog friendly golf course, Lynbrook Family golf center. This required a through investigation, so we put all four sets of clubs, the dog and some snacks into my 2018 Nissan Leaf, which had no problems with all of this, and scooted off to the links.

Four sets of clubs takes up a decent amount of space in my garage, so I did have to get a little creative in squeezing it into the leafs cavernous trunk. Briefly, the drivers proved to be slightly problematic, so I just put all of them in first, then the rest of the four bags as shown in the image below.

Plenty of space in my 2018 Nissan Leaf for four sets of clubs

Lynbrook family golf center is located just outside of Orangeville, ON about 100 km North-West of the city. Close enough for our 2018 Nissan Leaf to make it there and back without having to charge. However, it was a Saturdy and Orangeville has a lovely farmers market and sure enough, the kids got hungry as were about to pass through Orangeville, so we pulled into the downtown parking lot, and charged the car as we charged ourselves.

Golfing with our dog was fun, as that way all of us get some exercise. The poor dog wanted to take off after every golf ball and go fetch. This was slightly problematic around the driving range, but otherwise a lovely afternoon at a fantastic golf course. Next time, I might bring a ball that our dog can safely chase as there was a situation on the putting green where I almost made that awesome 10 meter put, but the dog got my ball…

Like walking your dog and golfing? Well, why not do both

After a fun day golfing, and feasting on the Orangeville farmers market for our lunch, it was time to head back, but we will certainly be back, and the cavernous trunk of the Leaf makes it easy to transport the four sets of clubs, along with the dog, snacks for the kids, a bunch of electronics and more.
