Having had solar for 8 months now, its time to look back and see how things have turned out. As is often the case, it took some time for the paperwork to settle, and electricity exports to commence, and we did suffer through a ground-fault on a part of the solar array, hence it was not until September that things really got going. For the three months since, solar production has been in-line with my installers quote.
Looking into my solar and battery system app, its time to dig up some info and see how that has kept pace with what was promised in my solar quote. The good news is that since everything got sorted, system performance has been on par with the estimated production values, even doing better in October, see the chart below.

My roof is tricky to work on, hence a small kink in one of the cables went unnoticed during installation, which developed into a ground fault shutting parts of the solar array down during July and August. That all got sorted in early September and since then the system has performed as advertised.
It is interesting to see how the home energy use climbs in the colder months when the heat-pump starts humming, hence even though Ontario as a whole is summer-peaking (source), seems my house is a bit of an outlier.
